Testing paint is a crucial part of choosing your perfect colour and finish. Here are some of our testing tips:

• Test colours in more than one location. A great way to do this is by painting a piece of sturdy card, no smaller than A5, in your chosen colour(s) and finish. The card can then be moved around the area you intend to paint, allowing you a better vision of how the colour will look in different areas and lighting conditions.
• Changes in natural and artificial light affect how colours appear, so ensure you view the samples throughout the day as the difference can be quite significant.
