- Preparation: Before starting your project, ensure the surface is clean, sound, and dry.
- Application:Mix well before use and agitate frequently during use. Apply using a brush (we recommend a 2" brush for most bricks and a smaller 0.5" brush for mortar joints. Additional coats can be applied immediately to achieve a darker shade (do not apply further coats once dry). A lighter finish can be produced by diluteing with water to maximum 50:50 ratio. Overlapping brush strokes can result in shade variations.
APPLICATION TIPS
- Test the colour on a discreet area before starting your project and allow to thoroughly dry
- Drain any excess tint from your brush before applying to the brick to keep drips to a minimum
- Tint bricks in a random pattern rather than a row, to avoid a light to dark effect across the row
- Keep some clean water to hand to quickly clean up any spills
The final colour of Brick Tint depends on the original substrate colour and its porosity. Colours displayed on screen may vary due to the limitations of digital representation and individual display settings. To ensure the most accurate representation and avoid disappointment, we recommend ordering sample pots. For more information visit our colour accuracy page.
AVAILABLE COLOURS
Colours displayed on screen will vary from colour of tint. The colour of the existing brickwork will affect the final colour. We strongly recommend testing a sample pot on an inconspicuous area of brickwork to ensure you are happy with the outcome. For more information visit our colour accuracy page.
