About Stonelux

Stonelux is a specialist UK manufacturer of stone effect paints and brick repair solutions, hand-blended to deliver exceptional authenticity, durability, and performance. Since 1988, we’ve been serving trade professionals who demand authentic finishes and high-quality products that replicate the look and feel of natural stone and brickwork.

We are a small, close-knit team with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a self-sufficient, strategic-minded sales professional to help us expand our reach and develop new opportunities across the UK.

Our customers include a wide range of professionals across the UK, such as heritage restoration specialists, housebuilders, surface repair contractors, cast stone manufacturers, specialist decorators, visual merchandising and shopfitting contractors, as well as trade retailers and display designers. Whether they’re restoring period properties or delivering high-end retail environments, our products support projects where quality and authenticity matter.

About The Role

We are looking for a driven and commercially aware individual to join our small and dedicated team in a dual role focused on business development and technical sales. This is a full-time role based at our premises in Goole, requiring regular travel across the UK to attend customer meetings, conduct site visits, and deliver product demonstrations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth across both existing and new B2B customers throughout the UK, proactively identifying and approaching new opportunities, developing relationships, and supporting clients with technical advice and solutions. You will be expected to take initiative in understanding our products, customers, and markets, and contribute ideas that support the company’s ongoing growth.

This role combines customer-facing activity with business development strategy and requires someone confident in working independently while still contributing as part of a small collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities across sectors such as restoration, construction, surface repair, cast stone manufacturing, shopfitting, exhibitions, and trade retail
  • Conduct outbound sales activity including calls, emails, and visits to introduce Stonelux products and build new relationships
  • Arrange and attend site visits and client meetings across the UK, providing demonstrations and technical support (training provided)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, supporting ongoing sales and satisfaction
  • Gather and report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support strategy development
  • Provide feedback on and assist with the development of sales tools, product information, and promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity using HubSpot CRM
  • Support the wider business with growth ideas, feedback, and strategic contributions
Key Requirements
  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, coatings, restoration, or similar industries
  • Comfortable learning and communicating technical product knowledge to trade customers and professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional approach to customer engagement
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work proactively without close supervision
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required across the UK
  • Previous experience with Stonelux products or similar specialist coatings would be highly advantageous, though not essential
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience in stone effect coatings, architectural paints, or decorative finishes
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM systems
  • Background in heritage restoration, shopfitting, or event/display installation
What We Offer

  • On-site base in Doncaster, with travel across the UK
  • Mileage reimbursement for business travel at HMRC rates
  • Uplifted pension contributions (subject to review after probation)
